Come and discover the hieroglyphic symbols that are hidden in the pieces of the museum and create your own pottery following an ancient Pre-Columbian technique.

Of the various Pre-Columbian writings that there were in the American continent, the most developed and the only ones that have been partially deciphered are the Mayan writings. The first signs of Mayan writing date back to the third century BC, and it is known that they continued to be in use until just after the arrival of the Spanish conquerors in the 16th century. The Mayan people used a type of hieroglyphic writing, like the Egyptians, that appeared in many of their creations: stone inscriptions, pottery, etc., that have helped historians to understand a whole world of supernatural beings and gods.
